Shang Noodle House 尚麵館 ON Sunday, March 31, 2013 AT 6:56 PM
It's sushicat again, and I went with my friend on Thurs - March 28 to Shang Noodle House.
We both got the cold hk style lemon tea.
I believe my friend had the BBQ Pork Ramen in Pork Broth. I like how they add lots of corn and carrots, its the little stuff like these that makes it better. But I tried her soup and we both agree that the flavor in the broth was lacking. She also had some shrimp in her soup.
I got the Malaysian style Ramen with Chicken, Prawns and Squid in Spicy Laska Soup. I kind of had expectations for this since my friend said this was pretty good and I really like laska soups. However, the soup for me tasted bland as well, I prefer Cattle Cafe's lasay soup better. Although I do like the ingredients such as the prawns, squid, egg and the carrots and corn.
For an additional $1.75, we could get a small snack with our meals which was a pretty good deal. I ordered the deep fried pork chops and it was a nice portion. They didn't have a lot of meat in them but I like the crispiness and I kind of liked this the most out of everything (LOL).

Overall: I think the price was reasonable. Although I was full after everything, I didn't really like the noodle soups. I don't think I would particularly come back (unless a friend wanted to) but I do like the add $1.75 for a snack.
